Brief: Website Design & Build

Hot Munkey's previous site was outdated and Aissa approached us looking for a web design overhaul as well as fully integrated e-commerce functionality.

We designed a bright and funky look and feel for the website while sticking to a tried and tested e-commerce layout. The bold color, rounded edges and soft glass like textures separate the interface from the background to highlight specific area's for ease of use. Our aim was to capture the funkiness of the products by portraying that fun element and like the products, being slightly unusual. The striking pink against the black brings impact to create a lasting memory of the site and it's products building on the company's fun and funky new image.

Within the e-commerce layout we designed and developed a host of functional modules such as browse our products, mailing list, a search facility and featured products. A banner feature was added across the top to advertise specific products, with the ability to be converted to flash in the future.

This was certainly a fun brief to work on, we loved the concept and the end result was bright, fun, funky yet functional. Just that little bit different, capturing the feel of the products.

100% reconmend these guys. This was the 2nd website I've had built - I only wish I'd found Gigabyte before I had our first one done. Great value for money and I'll be definetly be using Gigabyte for our next site.
