What We Did

Client: Lee Johnson
Brief: Branding & Promotional Material


2nd Day approached us with nothing but a name, giving us free reign on the design of their branding, our brief was to create something unique, something memorable that that would make them stand out in a saturated market. After researching the band's personality and physical features we developed a set of characters to represent each member of the band, half animal half human, all representative of their role in the band.


To accompany the illustrative style we went for a fresh and edgy style logo. After refining the identity and each character with approval from the band we begun to develop the promotional collateral. This involved in developing merchandise in the form of T-Shirts and Cap's for each member along with gig flyers and posters.


It's not often you get to work on a project with free reign to create something unique, a nice one to work on.


Our look sets us apart from all of the other bands we are up against. We love it as we can each relate to it and having worked with Nick to design our characters. It's much better than we expected, especially with our tiny budget.
