If you do a marketing site and you don't have an RSS feed today you should be fired.

It has took me ages to find a nice simple summary of 'what is rss', so thanks for that. I've found RSS ideal for keeping up to date with blogs & news, the concept is spreading so fast, it is a 'must have' on any site like this that adds news articles frequently.

RSS stands for real simple syndication or rich site summary. RSS feeds deliver frequently updated content to an RSS reader. This allows people to keep up-to-date with a website without having to actually load the website.
Firefox has a built in RSS reader called 'Live Bookmarks' a user can simply subscribe to the RSS feed by clicking a link, this then allows them to see a summary of that pages content, often used to keep up-to-date with news or blogs.
If you want to find out more about RSS or are interested in setting up a feed on your website please get in touch.
